Garage floor coatings made for Arizona heat

TruForce Epoxy installs full-flake polyaspartic garage floor coatings in Queen Creek, the East Valley and greater Phoenix. Each floor is diamond ground, crack-repaired and sealed with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat that resists hot tires, oil and Arizona sun. Most garages are finished in about a day, and you can typically park on the floor within 24 to 48 hours.

Serving Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix and the rest of the Valley.

What TruForce Epoxy coats

Professional garage floor coatings that last a lifetime start with premium materials and careful prep. Here is what we install across the Valley.

Flagship

Full-flake polyaspartic garage floors

Our flagship system and the floor most Valley homeowners ask for.

  • Diamond-ground prep for a mechanical bond
  • Base coat with flake broadcast to full coverage
  • Clear polyaspartic topcoat that holds up to UV and hot tires
  • Most garages finished in about a day
Also offered

Patios, porches and pool decks

Outdoor concrete takes direct sun all day, so topcoat choice matters more than anywhere else.

  • UV-stable topcoats that do not yellow
  • Texture options for wet areas
  • Covered and uncovered patios, entries and walkways
Also offered

Commercial, shop and warehouse floors

Coatings for spaces that see forklifts, tools, fluids and daily foot traffic.

  • Shops, warehouses and showrooms
  • Chemical- and abrasion-resistant systems
  • Scheduling around your operating hours
Also offered

Concrete repair and diamond grinding

Every coating is only as good as the slab under it. Prep is part of every job.

  • Crack, spall and pitting repair
  • Diamond grinding to open the surface
  • Moisture checks before coating

Ask about metallic and solid-color finishes during your estimate.

Arizona garage floor quick facts

The short version of what matters for a coated floor in the Valley, where summer garages run well past 100°F and the sun hits the slab every time the door goes up.

  • PrepDiamond grinding opens the concrete so the coating bonds mechanically. A floor that is only acid-etched or rolled on is more likely to peel.
  • Install timeMost two- and three-car garages are completed in about one day with a polyaspartic system.
  • Walk-onTypically within a few hours of the topcoat, depending on temperature and product.
  • ParkTypically 24 to 48 hours after the topcoat goes down.
  • UVPolyaspartic is aliphatic and UV stable, so it holds color in sun. Many standard epoxies amber or yellow.
  • HeatA well-bonded, topcoated floor resists hot-tire pickup, the lifting of a coating by hot, softened tires.
  • ResistsOil, fuel, antifreeze and most household chemicals when spills are wiped up promptly.
  • CareSweep weekly, wash with a pH-neutral cleaner, and squeegee dry to avoid hard water spots.

Terms used in this guide

Full-flake (full broadcast)
Vinyl chips scattered over a wet base coat until no base color shows, then sealed under a clear topcoat.
Polyaspartic
A fast-curing aliphatic coating related to polyurea. It is UV stable and cures in hours, not days.
Diamond grinding
Mechanical prep with diamond tooling that removes the weak top layer of concrete and leaves a profile the coating can grip.
Stem wall
The short concrete curb along the base of garage walls. It can be coated to match the floor.
Mil
One thousandth of an inch. Coating thickness is measured in mils.

Epoxy vs polyaspartic for an Arizona garage

Both are good coatings. In a sun-exposed Arizona garage, polyaspartic wins on the points that decide how the floor looks in five years. The longer explanation is in our guide to polyaspartic vs epoxy in Arizona heat.

Garage floor coating across the East Valley and Phoenix

TruForce Epoxy is based in Queen Creek and works Valley wide. These are the cities we coat most often, and what we usually find there.

Queen Creek

Our home base. New-build garages in Hastings Farms, Harvest and Barney Farms are often coated soon after move-in, before years of oil and tire stains soak into the slab.

San Tan Valley

In Johnson Ranch, Encanterra and Pecan Creek, garages double as home gyms, workshops and golf-cart parking, so we plan the floor around how you use the space.

Gilbert

From Agritopia to Power Ranch, Morrison Ranch and Val Vista Lakes, a west-facing Gilbert garage takes full afternoon sun every time the door opens. That is where a UV-stable topcoat pays off.

Mesa

Mesa slabs range from new pours in Eastmark to decades-old concrete near Red Mountain and Las Sendas. Older floors usually need more crack and spall repair before coating.

Chandler

Three-car and tandem garages are common in Ocotillo and Fulton Ranch. One continuous flake floor across the whole space reads cleaner than patched or partial coatings.

Phoenix

From Arcadia bungalows to Desert Ridge, Phoenix garages vary widely in age and condition. Prep is matched to each slab before any coating goes down.

Scottsdale

In McCormick Ranch and DC Ranch, many garages hold collector cars or golf carts. Flake size and color blend are where most Scottsdale homeowners spend their decision time.

Glendale

West Valley garages get the same diamond-grind prep and polyaspartic system as our East Valley jobs, scheduled as part of our Valley-wide service area.

Garage floor coating questions

How long does a garage floor coating take to install?

Most two- and three-car garages are completed in about one day with a polyaspartic system. You can typically walk on the floor within a few hours and park on it in roughly 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature and the products used.

Will a polyaspartic garage floor yellow in the Arizona sun?

No. Polyaspartic topcoats are aliphatic, which makes them UV stable, so they hold their color when the garage door is open to direct sun. Many standard epoxies are aromatic and can amber or yellow with UV exposure, which is why they are usually covered with a UV-stable topcoat.

Are cracks repaired before the floor is coated?

Yes. After diamond grinding, cracks, spalls and pitting are cleaned out, filled and ground flush so they do not show through the finish. A crack can reappear if the slab keeps moving, and a full-flake broadcast helps disguise hairline lines.

Is a flake garage floor slippery?

A full-broadcast flake floor has a light texture from the chips, which gives more grip than smooth sealed concrete. The texture can be increased with an anti-slip additive in the topcoat, which is worth asking about for patios, pool decks and garages that see water.

How do you clean a coated garage floor?

Sweep or dust mop weekly, then wash with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner using a soft deck brush or microfiber mop. Squeegee the floor dry to prevent hard water spots, and avoid acidic, citrus or vinegar cleaners.

How much does a garage floor coating cost?

Cost depends on square footage, slab condition, crack and moisture repair, flake size and add-ons such as stem walls. TruForce Epoxy gives free estimates so the price reflects your actual floor rather than a per-foot guess.

What areas does TruForce Epoxy serve?

TruForce Epoxy is based in Queen Creek, Arizona and serves the Valley within about 50 miles, including San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Maricopa and Casa Grande.
