What we do

Garage floor coating in Queen Creek and the East Valley

TruForce Epoxy installs full-flake polyaspartic garage floor coatings across the East Valley and greater Phoenix from its base in Queen Creek, Arizona. Every floor starts with diamond grinding and crack repair, followed by a base coat, a full broadcast of color flake and a UV-stable polyaspartic clear topcoat. Most garages are finished in about a day.

Polyaspartic
A fast-curing, UV-stable coating related to polyurea. Used as the clear topcoat, it keeps its color in sun and lets you get your garage back sooner than epoxy.
Full flake
Color flake broadcast until the base coat is completely covered, so no bare base color shows through.
Hot-tire pickup
When hot tires soften a weak coating and lift it off the floor as you drive away. Common with thin DIY kits in Arizona summers.

Services

Concrete coatings we install

Garages are most of the work. The same prep and materials go on patios, pool decks and shop floors.

Flagship system

Full-flake polyaspartic garage floors

The floor most customers call about. We grind the slab, fix cracks, lay a base coat, broadcast flake to full coverage and seal it with a polyaspartic clear coat. You get a textured, easy-to-clean floor that stands up to tires, oil and Arizona sun.

  • Hides dust, tire marks and small slab flaws
  • Textured surface for grip when wet
  • Walk on it the same day in most cases
Full-flake blend, rendered sample

Patios, porches and pool decks

Epoxy and polyaspartic coatings with UV-stable topcoats for concrete that sits in direct sun all day.

Shop, commercial and warehouse floors

Hard-wearing coatings for workshops, commercial spaces and warehouses that see equipment, chemicals and foot traffic.

Crack repair and diamond grinding

Cracks and spalled spots are repaired and the slab is diamond ground before any coating goes down. No acid etching.

The coating system

Five layers, bottom up

A garage floor coating is only as good as the slab under it. This cutaway shows the order each TruForce floor goes down, from bare concrete to the clear coat you walk on. Layer thicknesses are exaggerated so you can see them.

Concrete slabFinished surface →
  1. Diamond-ground slab

Industrial grinders cut off the slick top layer, old sealers and stains, leaving an open profile the coating can grip. This mechanical bond is what keeps a floor from peeling.

  2. Crack and spall repair

Cracks, chips and spalled spots are filled and ground flush so they do not telegraph through the finished floor.

  3. Base coat

A pigmented base coat soaks into the ground concrete and holds the flake in place.

  4. Full flake broadcast

Color flake is thrown by hand until the wet base coat is completely covered, then the excess is scraped and vacuumed. Full coverage hides dust and adds grip.

  5. Polyaspartic clear topcoat

A UV-stable clear coat seals the flake. It resists hot-tire pickup, oil and chemicals, and wipes clean.

Materials

Epoxy vs polyaspartic

Both are two-part coatings. In an Arizona garage, the topcoat takes the sun, the heat and the tires, which is why TruForce finishes with polyaspartic.

Typical characteristics. Results vary by product, prep and conditions.

Process

How install day works

The steps below happen in this order on every floor. Most garages go from bare concrete to finished in one day.

  1. Before

    Free estimate

We look at the slab, note cracks, moisture or old coatings, and help you pick a flake blend.

  2. Before

    Clear the garage

You move cars, shelving and stored items off the floor so the whole slab can be ground.

  3. Morning

    Diamond grind

Grinders open the concrete and remove sealers and stains, with dust collection running.

  4. Morning

    Repair cracks

Cracks and spalls are filled and ground flush with the surrounding slab.

  5. Midday

    Base coat and flake

The base coat goes down and flake is broadcast by hand to full coverage.

  6. Afternoon

    Scrape and vacuum

Loose flake is scraped and vacuumed so the topcoat lays down smooth.

  7. Afternoon

    Polyaspartic topcoat

The clear UV-stable topcoat seals the flake and sets the final texture.

  8. After

    Walkthrough and cure

We walk the floor with you. You can typically walk on it in hours and park in 24–48 hours.

FAQ

Garage floor coating questions

Straight answers to what homeowners ask before they book.

How long does a garage floor coating take to install?

Most garages are finished in about one day with a polyaspartic system. You can typically walk on the floor within a few hours of the final coat and park on it in roughly 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature and the size of the job.

What is a full-flake polyaspartic garage floor?

A full-flake floor is a coating system where colored vinyl flakes are broadcast over a wet base coat until the surface is fully covered. The loose flake is scraped and vacuumed, then sealed under a clear polyaspartic topcoat. The result hides dust and small imperfections and gives the surface texture for grip.

Is polyaspartic better than epoxy for Arizona garages?

For a garage that gets sun through an open door, polyaspartic is usually the better topcoat. It is UV stable, so it does not yellow the way many epoxies do in Arizona sun. It also cures faster, resists hot-tire pickup and stands up to oil and common garage chemicals.

Do you repair cracks before coating the floor?

Yes. After diamond grinding, TruForce Epoxy fills cracks and repairs spalled or chipped areas so the coating goes down on a sound, even slab. Repairing first keeps damage from showing through and helps the coating bond across the whole floor.

Why do you diamond grind the concrete first?

Diamond grinding removes the smooth top layer of the slab, old sealers and surface contaminants, and opens the concrete so the base coat can form a mechanical bond. A proper grind is the main thing that keeps a coating from peeling.

Can you coat patios, porches and pool decks?

Yes. TruForce Epoxy coats patios, front porches and pool decks with epoxy and polyaspartic systems finished in a UV-stable topcoat, which holds its color in direct sun better than many standard epoxies.

What areas does TruForce Epoxy serve?
